Ali Baubles Jewelry

Handcrafted Jewelry by Allison Raposa

Born and raised in the UK, now living in the USA, Allison Raposa's passion for baubles has never faded. She finds it exciting to be able to bring the raw materials together to create a beautiful piece of jewelry, which will, hopefully, be cherished for generations. You will see by her description of each piece that she makes almost everything by hand.

designer necklace

Geometrically Groovy Necklace

A bold geometric necklace with a pendant made with individual links of fine silver wire that I've cut, hand fired together, shaped and hammered for texture and strength, and then tumbled to bring out the shine. The pendant is approximately 3" in length. Finished with ceramic beads (made in Greece) dipped in fine silver, strung on black satin cord (one size fits all). A very bold and contemporary piece. Fine silver is 99.9% silver and is highly tarnish resistant.

$82

sterling silver pendant

Metronome Necklace

Very sleek and versatile necklace. The pendant is made with sterling silver wire which has been soldered to sterling silver discs, which have been cut and domed, and then tumbled to bring out the shine. The pendant is approximately 3-1/2" in length. Strung on black satin cord.

$109

designer bracelet

Carnaby Street Bracelet

A chic and modern 7" bracelet made with links of sterling silver that I've cut from a sterling silver 22g sheet, shaped, filed, and tumbled to bring out the shine (except for the circular links which I've sanded to get a nice matte finish). Finished with a handcrafted sterling silver clasp which has been soldered on.

$92

Artist Statement

My pieces are handcrafted and made with the finest quality materials, including artisan created lampwork beads, sterling silver, 14k gold fill, copper, and other precious metals. My work is very eclectic as I'm constantly striving to learn new skills, and enjoy dabbling in different areas.

I personally fabricate and weave my chain jewelry from start to finish. Hand-woven chain is a complex and labor-intensive form of jewelry that is beautiful, classic, and enduring.
